What Other Missionaries Would Say About Me

They would probably say that I get off topic at times, but that I am great at planning and trying to get the most out of every day, I would also think obedient because my current companion gets annoyed with how much I talk about the rules.  I would also say that I tend to follow instead of lead and I am trying to break that so much.  I have had 3-4 interviews and it amazes me that whatever my concerns or questions might be, the Spirit guides him to the answers I need.  I feel the great love that he has for me and that he wants whats best.  I have never thought much about being a district leader but being a trainer would be interesting because I feel its every few weeks I find out about rules I have never heard about, and so I feel I would overload people with information.  I would tell my brothers to start thinking about the Spirit more often, I felt I rarely did that before my mission, but that is everything here, so I wished I had been studying the Spirit more 8 months ago and putting more trust in being led and instructed.

Sadly my companion Elder Rust is being moved very far south to Porterville, the most southern part of the mission.  On the other had, I was able to see 2 baptisms on Saturday, 1 in which our investigator, Brooke was there and was able to see Vanessa get baptized into the Valentine ward.  Brooke loved it and we were able to set her baptismal date for March 26.  We were able to see JR 3 times this week and to really focus on his reading and praying on the Book of Mormon, we can tell he is reading, but we are still confused if he is asking specific questions in his prayers.  Katie will be moving to Viselia next month but she is now planning on getting married in May, so she will then be able to be baptized, we are so excited for her.  I love being out here.  On Sunday, someone walked into church and said he was here because of his religious class and so we introduced him to people. taught him the Restoration and he stayed for the first 2 hours.  He said he felt very welcomed but was not interested in learning more, we did our best and that is all that is asked of us.  It is amazing to really be able to better recognize the Spirit and see that the Lords hand is in everything.  The Book of Mormon truly is the word of God, I love the confirmation of the Spirit as I study those amazing words.
