Elder Stojka Sick; Brother Driscoll

I am sorry I forgot to give more details last week.  Elder Stojka has been sick since last Tuesday so we have tried to call lots of members to get work done but we still spend lots of time in the apartment since he can't work.  I love the people of our ward so much.  They are always offering to help, to feed us, and to come out with us.   Our ward mission leader brother Driscoll is great and comes out with us to teach every Thursday.   We have not been able to get many referrals yet but it has been more difficult with Elder Stojka being sick for 2 weeks.  Teaching this week has been different because it has always been with members and it has amazed me to see how great companions when you can work together to teach people and help them.  Miracles and tender mercies for the week would just have been the Spirit guiding me to people we needed to meet, see, or give a blessing to.  What will I miss the most, probably being around other missionarie...

Easter

Our ward had an easter activity the week before for the primary kids.  I had dinner with at the Quach home, they had really good pasta, banana muffins, soup, and cucumbers for easter dinner.  We didn't do much for Easter, Elder Stojka was sick so he stayed with another sick member while I went to church.  For exercise, we run 20 minutes in the morning do a 2 minute plank and then 10 minutes of other, I have been just doing things like pushups, sit ups, and jumping jacks recently.  Lots of my companions are injured and can't run so sometimes I lack the motivation to run very fast in the morning.  The Spanish Elders who live a few doors down, take us to do shopping on Mondays.  I usually just eat cereal for breakfast and sandwiches or leftovers for lunch, we are given so many leftovers we can't eat them fast enough and have to through some away ever few days.  First tip for dayton is practice walking around and doing things with things in your shirt pock...

Getting Drenched with Elder Wright

I tried sending pictures again but the computers here are really weird so I don't know how yet and neither does anyone else here at the moment.  The area that we cover is pretty small and most of the people that we usually teach or try are not too far from the apartment.  Things were great this week and we were able to find some investigators and teach more lessons in the afternoon than usual.  Elder Stojka has been serving 3 transfers less than me, just like Elder Wilmoth.  He like board games, movies, and Elvis Presley.  I love how friendly the members are and how the ward council really wants to find people to teach and takes part in the work instead of just expecting us to do the work for them.  We have been in the rain a few times but we missed most of the big storms.  On Tuesday last week I went on exchange with Elder Wright and we didn't think it was going to rain that morning and it did so we got drenched on Wednesday morning before we came bac...
