Madera Pictures

Yes, I now get to ride my bike every day, so that is awesome because it gives me more opportunities to meet people and share the gospel.  I am doing good, but their is a lot of work here, so I am going to learn to rely on the Lord to accomplish things I know I cannot do by myself.  It is really wonderful to be learning to recognize the Spirit more often, I have not baptized anyone yet, but I am not going to stop praying and searching for those the Lord has prepared.  I have been on my mission for too long already, for I enjoy being able to focus on the things that really matter. The top one is Mathew a great ward missionary, the other 2 is Mormon and his brother Moroni( he has the beard) the awesome Elders Quoram president, they were so much fun to work with. That is John Christopherson, an awesome member who served his mission is San Diego, and our district in Madera.

Riverside North with Elder Rust

I have found another computer that refuses to recognize my USB thing, so I doubt I will ever be able to send pictures home.  I got transferred to Riverside North to be with Elder Rust, and Elder Davis got transferred to Riverside South with Elder Ford, so I am still in the same stake and recognize most of my district because most of it hasn't changed since I was in Fig Garden.  The Riverside ward is very large with lots of members so it is covered by 2 sets of missionaries.  The ward is very weird as people love the missionaries and have us over for dinner, but for reasons of laziness and other things, don't come to church.  So we have a lot of work to do, my companion Elder Rust is hard dedicated worker and we get along great, we are really working on studying the scriptures and seeking the Lord's will for our area since we are not having the success we are hoping to have. Have a great week.

Joseph Smith is a Prophet

That will keep you busy.  This week was so much fun.  We have received lots of referrals and so that has kept us busy with trying to keep up and contact them.  YSA is so weird and fun with all its activities.  We see one of our investigators and her member friend almost everyday, which is awesome because sometimes its hard to see people even once a week.  Tuesday was amazing because we felt like we should watch Joseph Smith, Prophet of the Restoration with 2 of our investigators Morgan and Daniell, that is an amazing movie and it really invited the Spirit into the room and confirmed to me again that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God.  Then they asked some good questions.  On Wednesday I was on exchange with our district leader, Elder Jackson, and so I went crazy on our planning and we were able to try 17 different houses, teach 2 less actives, an investigator we had not seen in a long time, and to meet other people and set up future return appointment...

Forced to Order Seconds

Sorry no pictures this week, the computer did not like the usb stick.  This has been such a wonderful week, I cannot believe that I have been in this ward for over a month now, it feels like I got here only a few days ago, I love the people hear so much, even when they don't feel like coming to church.  Tuesday we were in Fresno and set up like 4 appointments most fell through so we were only able to finally figure that a less active who called us, Jen, is not married legally to her nonmember husband, they did some sort of Elvis wedding, so she is technically under our jurisdiction but her husband does not appear to be too interested at the moment be we are going to see what we can do about that.  Wednesday was fun as we were able to go out to the vineyard again to help with clearing up weeds and pruning.  Some of the members have decided that I need lessons on job interview skills, so those are so much fun.  Thursday was New Years, so we had to be back by 8 and...
