First Transfer

So this has been another great week.  It is so much fun to be a missionary and to try and help people in whatever way I can.  The Troche family is a less active family with 9 kids and so thier house is a complete disaster with flies everywhere whenever we go over, I love all of their kids so much, even though they cause problems.  We were able to help Brother Troche get a job so now they have some income and so we have been going over the family proclamation with the parents to help them because it is very hard on them, especially Sister Troche who feels that her husband acts like a child and doesn't  help her and so things are difficult.  But Elder Daley says that they are doing so much better than a few months ago.  I still love reading and so I have gone through Our search for happiness and Our Heritage and they were amazing.  Tuesday was awesome because we did a team up with the Makelys and the Ward Mission Leader, Brother Cruz.  The Makelys are amazing and it was so awesome to go and visit people with them because they are so friendly and kind in inviting less actives to come back and they are so great.  We were also able to contact a reffereal in the Sierra ward so we may actually have people to teach in that area.

Haha, McKay you have not changed a bit, and about your water problem, water will go over or around anything if gravity can pull it that way, and about those converts, its so hard to find our investigators they are always to busy and moving around, because they don't have a home.   also my companion has hops

Dayton, so you mean its weird not having me their to drag me away from my books and come make me play soccer? haha

Drew, I wish I had really pushed myself in school and the mission is amazing because it forces you to do that and so I think its awesome to go on a mission before college so one can really have the opportunity to stretch and grow.  I hope that you were able to be a baller at that soccer camp.  Missionary work is very long and hard and I don't really know how to describe it but it really helps and changes you as you decide to serve others with all you've got and the Lords gives you strength to press forward.  I wish I could desribe how a mission is so hard at times, but its complicated, part of it is just that you have so much to do, learn stretch, and just how you have to plan, work all day, wishing you knew how to better help people and getting frustrated at peoples agency, and then you sleep wake up and get back at it.  As my companion says, their are hard parts, but they will be over soon and you have to realize hard things are a part of life and that giving up does you no good, so I wish that I had done a better job stretching myself socially in high school.
