That will keep you busy. This week was so much fun. We have received lots of referrals and so that has kept us busy with trying to keep up and contact them. YSA is so weird and fun with all its activities. We see one of our investigators and her member friend almost everyday, which is awesome because sometimes its hard to see people even once a week. Tuesday was amazing because we felt like we should watch Joseph Smith, Prophet of the Restoration with 2 of our investigators Morgan and Daniell, that is an amazing movie and it really invited the Spirit into the room and confirmed to me again that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God. Then they asked some good questions. On Wednesday I was on exchange with our district leader, Elder Jackson, and so I went crazy on our planning and we were able to try 17 different houses, teach 2 less actives, an investigator we had not seen in a long time, and to meet other people and set up future return appointments so that we may stay busy in the future. Then we got to Thursday, usually we work really hard to set up appointments and it looks like we are going to be busy and then everything flops and we have to go to our back up plans. That day was different, we were able to see Jesse again who we were starting to get worried about because he was not responding to our calls or texts and we were able to teach him with his fellow shipper Paul Oddermat. People need to be taught the gospel and learn, but without members to be their to support and teach them as well, it is nowhere near as effective or efficient and they don't feel welcome or important. After that we went and saw the super solid recent convert to finish up her new member lessons, she is going on a mini mission for a few days this weekend so that is sweet. A member took us out to eat and we asked if he knew anyone we could teach and he said no, but that's okay because its always no unless you ask. Later that evening we were finally able to find a new investigator, that had been the great struggle for us and so we met Eric and his girlfriend Meagan, who is a member and told us he wanted to learn more. He is super into service and we went over the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and he seems interested and excited to know more. Our next few lessons were all with less actives and it was so great to be able to meet people and share things with them instead of knocking doors without success. Saturday continued the awesome week as we contacted a referral from the Madera Sisters and we are now teaching him, he is keeping his commitments, something most people don't ever do, and he asked lots of questions, so he is super solid and prepared. That evening we had another dinner and lesson with Morgan and Daniell in which we taught them the Gospel of Jesus Christ with our ward mission leader, Ernesto. They were much more focused and responded much better than usual so we really feel that is them having a greater desire to learn and change. Then that night we found out that we are both leaving, that is very hard to hear, I know that the Lord has a plan and that my work hear is done, but I already miss all the great people of the ward and all the love and kindness they showed for us. Have a great week.
