Porterville Museum
It is just a museum about Porterville and its history. I don't really know what's it is about. They just have a train exhibit every year and I will make sure to get pictures when we go back this week. Lessons that we had this week. We taught Youa about the law of Chastity and how she needs to get married so she can be baptized and eventually make it to the temple. She said she will talk to him so we are praying for them and hope things work out. I don't remember a lot of the things that we taught because I keep forgetting to write in my journal. We had a lot of good food and pies this week. We spend a lot of time working with recent converts, because a prophet of the Lord taught us of its importance President Gordon B. Hinckley said: “There is absolutely no point in doing missionary work unless we hold on to the fruits of that effort. The two must be inseparable. …Every convert is a great and serious responsibility” i It was a great week. We found some new investigators and we have been working with a less active part member family and one of them is wanting to get baptized now so we are hoping to use this as an opportunity to help them build and live there testimonies. For gospel principles class we have been working on family history to help people prepare for the temple trip on December 10th, it is so exciting! Family History is so amazing.
