Snowmen

Wow, this is so much fun, I love being out here it is so truly amazing to be able to teach people and to do everything we can as missionaries to help them.  It was the best on Sunday because we were able to get our 2 best investigators to church, Sonja and Salvador, Sonja has stopped smoking for a week and we are doing our best to have daily contact and to help her better feel and recognize the Spirit.  She is so crazy and awesome, talking with her is always so exciting.  Just a few weeks ago she read through the whole Book of Mormon in 3 days, so now she has read it twice and so once we she stops smoking we will be able to set up her baptism and she will be able to help others.  Salvador also made it, he is so awesome and he is still praying about baptism and so now we are going to start committing  him to also read the Book of Mormon so he can better receive and answer that this is what God wants for him.  We were also able to teach his father in law Efrain, and he opened up the Restoration pamphlet and the first thing he read was Joseph Smiths account of the first vision, he and Elder Draney both share a deep love for cars and so they get along super well.  We were able to contact one of our referrals, his name is Russ and he said he would call us back and he told us to bring our books so we think he wants to bible bash, so we want to clear that up with him to let him know that won't do either of us good but that we want to testify of restored truths and then invite him to ask God if what we say is true.  We were able to see the Troches again for the first time with Elder Draney, they have 8-9 kids 13 and under, so words cannot do justice to the chaos and madness in that house at times, but we love them and things are improving for them.  Their house is a complete disaster always so Sister Troche is excited for school to start so she can finally clean faster than the kids can create messes.  We are going to the zoo today so that will be super awesome.  I still love numbers so I am always calculating ways to get more lessons in in a week and so my companion thinks I am crazy, especially when I get really off topic and start talking about Dungeons and Dragons or Pokemon, we get along great and he is teaching me lots about cars, which is sadly more useful than being able to list pokemon evolutions.  Until next week.
Thats so awesome that you are the new relief society president, you are so blessed to have the opportunities to serve and help so many other people around you.  I am sorry about last week, I have a bad habit of just reading and replying from bottom to top, so getting better at this thing.  I am sorry about your fall, that is so not fun but it will hopefully make some good stories, cities and knights, that game is the best, that will be so much to be able to play that again, but it can wait.  I am lucky to be somewhere were we have AC, that is going to be fun as the everyone starts school and seminary, I am disappointed  that I have not heard too much about band camp .
